How do I fix wrong information about my business in ChatGPT or other AI answers?

AIs repeat what their sources say, so fix the sources. Correct your own website and listings first, then ask third-party sites to update outdated facts. Live search answers change as sources change; facts learned during training change only after the model is retrained.

How

1. Find which sources the AI cites for the wrong fact, and correct or update them.
2. Make the correct fact explicit and dated on your own site, and use the feedback buttons in the AI app to report wrong answers.

Limits

• No one can edit an AI model's memory directly.
• Corrections can take weeks to appear, and longer for built-in model knowledge.
