How do I get ChatGPT to recommend my business?

When someone asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, it often searches the web and recommends businesses whose information it can find, understand and trust. You cannot make ChatGPT recommend you, but you can make it easy for it to learn true, specific and checkable facts about you.

How

1. Allow OAI-SearchBot (ChatGPT search) and ChatGPT-User (pages users ask about) in robots.txt; GPTBot is only for training.
2. Write pages that answer the questions customers ask ChatGPT: what you offer, for whom, where, prices, hours, delivery, proof.
3. Be mentioned honestly by independent sources and publish a signed profile for AIs on humancollab: https://humancollab.si/businesses/claim.

Limits

• ChatGPT's answers depend on the question, the user's location and what it finds at that moment.
• Prompting ChatGPT yourself to 'remember' your business does not change what it tells other people.
