How can I check what ChatGPT and other AIs say about my business?

Ask them the way your customers would: in their language, from their location, with the questions they really ask. Compare the answers across assistants and note what is missing, outdated or wrong, and which sources they cite.

How

1. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot the same 5 to 10 customer questions, with web search on.
2. Write down which sources each answer cites; those pages shape what AIs say about you.
3. Repeat monthly and after you change your website or listings.

Limits

• Answers vary between sessions and users; one test is a sample, not a measurement.
• Paid 'AI visibility' dashboards also sample prompts; treat their numbers as estimates.
