What happens if I lose my humancollab business key?

You can replace it. Create a new key in the publishing form, publish the new DNS record (or .well-known file) for your domain, and sign your profile with the new key. The new key takes over, the old one can never sign for your domain or any other again, and the change stays visible in your profile's key history.

How

1. Open https://humancollab.si/businesses/claim, enter your domain and create a new key.
2. Replace the old _humancollab TXT record (or the line in /.well-known/humancollab.txt) with the one for the new key.
3. Publish your profile again; add a change note such as "New signing key" so AIs see why.

Limits

• Whoever controls your domain's DNS or website can do this, so protect those accounts.
• Your previous versions stay in the public log, signed with the old key.
